What Makes your Furniture Unique?
In addition to designing and making by hand, it's the attention to detail that really sets my furniture apart. My pieces are finished equally as well on the top, as they are on the bottom. The same applies to the back of a piece as well. You may never look at the bottom or back, but I know it's there, and therefore must be crafted as close to perfect as my creator will allow.
Placing an order is easy! Just contact me either by phone or by e-mail, and we can finalize your selection, as well as answer any questions you may have.

Do You Have a Waiting List or need lead time?
Most Custom Furniture makers have what Is known as "Lead Time". Lead time is an indicator of how much time is required to craft a new order, once it is placed. My lead time varies depending on the complexity of the proposed project, and the quantity and scope of the projects I have in queue.
My lead time is generally eight to twelve weeks. Please Contact Me for a more accurate lead time on a piece you are interested in, Or to see if that piece is available for immediate purchase.
Can I alter the size or Style of a Piece I've seen?
Absolutely! Since I hand craft all of the pieces I offer, I can accommodate most changes in size, design, style, or finish of a piece. Please contact me if you wish to alter any aspect of a piece you've seen.
What If I don't See What I'm Looking for?
The photos and drawings on this website represent a sample of work I have designed or crafted in the past, as well as an indicator of my abilities as an Artisan and Craftsman.
If you have need for a specific piece of furniture, cabinetry, or an elegant accent for your home or office, I would be happy to design and craft a piece just for you.

What About Custom Orders or Commissions?
I follow a process that is typical among Woodworking Artisans.
Click Here to see an example of the commission process
We begin by discussing the overall scope of your project, including your timeframe, the materials you would like to see incorporated, the style you are looking for, and your budget. I generally make a few sketches at this point, to be certain of the direction we are heading in. There is no charge for this initial consultation
If you choose to continue with the project, I will draft a detailed drawing, calculate a price within your budget, and determine a time line for the construction and completion of your project. I will then forward the design/drawing with overall dimensions shown, as well as two copies of a contract specifying the details of the project. Since designing and drafting is labor intensive, I do charge for this service. If an order is placed, this charge may be waived or rolled into the total project price.
Placing an order requires the return of the signed
contracts, accompanied by a down payment which varies from 30% to 50%, depending
on the project. I then lock your project into my schedule, and use the
down payment to procure the materials for it.
Prior to the completion of the piece, I will contact you to arrange a delivery date and method. I require any remaining payment(s) plus shipping and handling fees before sending the piece.

Yes. Delivery is currently available within the contiguous United States. I have partnerships with several shipping firms, and several delivery options available, including a "White Glove" delivery option, where your piece will be delivered to your home, and placed exactly where you would like.
Delivery costs are not included in the price of the pieces I hand craft.
Do You Offer other Payment Options?
Yes, and I am very open to what ever option will work best for you. Collector quality furniture is an investment. Typically Payments are made in thirds, however I would be happy to make arrangements that accommodate you. Please Contact me for an Individual plan.
Are Gift Certificates Available?
Yes. Gift certificates are available in any amount. Please contact me If you would like to purchase a gift certificate.
Do you Work with Architects and/or Designers?
Yes, I would be happy to collaborate with your professional designer and/or architect on a custom project. Please feel free to have your designer or architect contact me directly
What Species of woods do you work with?
While I primarily work with Oak, Cherry, and Maple, I am open to, and occasionally work with varying domestic and exotic hardwoods; although there are a few exceptions
Because I currently work out of my home, I do not work with walnut or many of the rosewood species. The dust from these species can cause extreme irritation to the eyes, skin, and respiratory system, and their toxicity, as well as their carcinogenic properties are questionable.
