the overwhelming majority of our designs are rooted in the arts & crafts tradition, which embraces robust joinery, integrity of structure, and timeless design. It's a style that we love, and have become well known for. Our modern interpretations of the Arts & Crafts classics tend to be on the lighter side, less bulky than the originals, and make better use of the natural resources that comprise each piece. Our designs are made not only to last for generations to enjoy, but also to make conscious and respectful use of the materials |

we’re surrounded by constant natural inspiration, living and working in the mountains of North Carolina, near the Tennessee border. From the countless mountain streams and waterfalls in the blue ridge, to the wild Elk of Catalooche, and even the gentle rains which transform into the billowing cottony wisps, which give the Great Smokies their namesake
Of course, we’re also inspired by the work of the arts and crafts masters of years gone by, such as Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Gustav Stickley, Charles Rohlfs, and Charles & Henry Greene, to name a few. |
