How a Piece of furniture is born

In the first stages of the design process, we'll discuss your needs, budget,  and visions of the project.  In this case, we were looking to build a modern adaptation of Gustav Stickley's #74 Bookrack.  This simple sketch was my interpretation of the client's desire. Happy with the sketch, the client wished to continue with the process. A more precise isometric drawing was drafted, and presented to for review.  Final specifications, wood selection, and finish were decided upon. The final drawing, a fully rendered, full color, three dimensional representation of the project was created and forwarded to the client.
