A contemporary feel is derived from the carefully selected American cherry which makes up this modern interpretation of the classic Morris chair. The natural cherry is finished by hand applying oil to promote the development of its rich natural patina. A creamy paste wax is then hand rubbed, and buffed to a beautiful luster.

Well over One Hundred mortise and tennon joints, including the hand cut through mortises which allow the legs to protrude through the tops of the arms, ensure this pair will endure for generations. A four position reclining back adjusts for your comfort, while graceful corbels support the wide flat arms, making a bold, yet refined, statement, where ever it sits.
